Buttercup is operated by Mouliom Holdings LLC.
That company is the party to these terms. The product name is a trade name, not a separate company.
What the service is
Buttercup is planning software. It organizes the financial information you enter or choose to connect, and shows projections and comparisons based on it.
It does not hold, move or invest your money, and it cannot initiate a payment or a transfer from any account you connect.
Buttercup is not a registered investment adviser, and nothing in Buttercup is advice concerning securities.
Who can use the service
Buttercup is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and by creating one you confirm that you are. We do not ask for your date of birth and we do not verify age beyond that confirmation.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete its information.
Your account
One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what is done under your sign-in; two-step verification is available to every account and we ask you to turn it on.
You may not try to read, change or disturb anyone else's records, probe the service for weaknesses other than through the disclosure route on the Security page, or use automated means to copy the service. If an account does these things we may close it, and we tell you by email when we do.
Your information is yours
You can export a copy of your plan and you can delete your account, from your account settings, at any time. Deletion completes after a 14-day window during which you can change your mind. Personal financial data is never sold or rented, and no advertising is shown.
Price and billing today
Nothing is billed. Buttercup does not charge anyone while it is being built. When membership pricing goes live, this section is rewritten before anyone is charged, and no one is charged without their card and their say.
