The standard we build to
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. It is a design requirement from the first page, not a later pass.
What is in place
Built into the interface today:
- Everything works from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
- Dialogs trap focus, close on Escape, and return focus to where you were
- Status messages are announced to screen readers
- Color is never the only carrier of meaning; a stale figure or a connection that needs you is said in words
- Animation is reduced or removed when your device asks for reduced motion
- Layouts reflow for small screens and for zoom
Conformance status
Not yet assessed. No conformance claim is made. This page will state the result, the date and the method once an assessment has been done.
Tell us about a barrier
Write to support@withbuttercup.com with the page and what stood in the way. Reports are read within a business day and the fix is scheduled with the same priority as a defect, because it is one.
Automated and manual testing
